The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Remaster has higher-resolution visuals and new gameplay elements for both the Nintendo Switch and PC.
The PlayStation 4 version, on the other hand, is a copy of the original Japanese version with English localization. It contains a few quality-of-life enhancements over the most recent Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game.
Don’t skip the PlayStation 4 version if you already have a copy or have Trails from Zero save data
You don’t have to skip the game if you already have a PlayStation 4 copy. The game is fully playable, and if you don’t emphasize visuals, you’ll have no problems.
Also, if you have saved Trails from Zero data, it is preferable to continue playing on the same platform with the right region version. You will reap the save data benefits and have a different experience with the game.
