What is S-Break?

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Remaster features a variety of battle mechanics that players must learn to prevail in battles throughout the game. One of the special attacks that can turn the tide of the battle is the S-Break. Each character in the game has a different S-Break attack. When triggered, S-Break can deal a huge amount of damage to your enemies and change the attack order by disrupting their AT(Active Time) bar.

How to do an S-Break Attack

In order to perform an S Break attack, a character needs to have 100 or more CP (Craft Points). Once the CP is filled,  you will see a Red Diamond icon on the characters which indicates that the S-Break attack is ready. If the diamond icon is empty, it means you need to do more actions until it turns red.

To launch the S-Break attack, press the Triangle button to open the S-Break menu (Hold X button for Nintendo Switch), then select the character you want to perform the S-Break attack by pressing the button on the Directional Pad. Use 100 S-Breaks to unlock the Break It Up (Bronze Trophy) achievement.
