New Game Plus (NG+)
Completing the main story unlocks New Game Plus (NG+) which lets you play through the entirety of the main story with various elements such as character levels, Quartz, equipment, items, and money from your previous playthrough carried over.

To transfer these features to NG+, you must access the Extra menu from the game’s title screen and use the points you have accumulated.

“Extra” Features Added
The Extra menu is added to the game’s title screen once you clear the main story. This special menu allows you to spend Achievement Points to unlock various bonus post-game features or carry over certain elements from your previous playthrough into NG+.

New Monsters (New Game + only)
Five (5) new monsters will also appear in NG+ during the Finale Chapter. These powerful foes can be battled to unlock the secret boss Vermillion which drops two types of accessories depending on the current difficulty mode you are playing on.

Vermillion Superboss (NG+)
Once all the monsters listed above are defeated, the super boss Vermillion can be fought at the Scarlet Wetlands. Note that the Vermillion will be at level 130 when fought and is easily one of the hardest encounters in the game, especially in Nightmare difficulty mode.

New Accessories
Two new accessories can also be obtained in NG+ which are the Dawn Crown and Creator’s Crown. The former is acquired after defeating Vermillion on Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty while the Creator’s Crown will only drop from the super boss on Nightmare mode.
The Dawn Crown and Creator’s Crown are two of the best accessories in the game and are well worth the trouble of taking down Vermillion on your second playthrough. The Creator’s Crown, in particular, grants massive boosts to all stats and stands head and shoulders above all other pieces of equipment in its class.
