Below is a complete walkthrough for Chapter 10: Bricks and Mortar in The Quarry. Included are all QTEs, dialogue options, action points, and collectibles to get the best ending (Keep Everyone Alive) in the game.
Hackett’s Quarry Island
1 | After the cutscene on killing Chris Hackett, you take control of Max in this section of the chapter. |

2 | Max returns to his human form after the werewolf curse has been broken. He finds himself above a tree. |
3 | After some few cutscenes, Max got some clothes that he can wear and can explore the area. |
4 | Max can roam around the campfire and the island. (Note: No important collectible can be found, but a few small clues can be interacted with). |
5 | Max wanted to find Laura and inform her that the curse has been lifted. Follow the path to pick up a pink cap. |
6 | After reaching the docks, there will be a cutscene. |
7 | Action: Stay. |
Hackett’s Quarry Lodge
1 | You will take control of Kaitlyn in this section while looking inside the lodge. |

2 | Check the staircase and on the right side there will be a bedroom, check the crumpled letter on the floor to get Camp History Clue #12: (Camp Letter). |
3 | After leaving the bedroom, head upstairs on the attic like room and walk around to locate the Tarot Card #22: (The High Priestess). |
4 | Go down again to check the portrait displayed on the wall to get Hackett History Clue #19: (Ancestral Portrait). |
5 | Action: Keep Searching. |
6 | Look on the same place where Kaitlyn was spotted by Bobby earlier, it is just next to the portrait to get the Freakshow Fire Clue #9: (Ticket Stub). |
7 | Check one of the rooms that looks like a classroom with the blackboard, interact with it to learn more about Hackett History Clue #17: (Chalkboard Doodle). |
8 | After looking around the classroom, head upstairs again and check on the couch to get Hackett History Clue #18: (Inscribed Jewelry). |
9 | On the same room with the couch, check the room and look into the box to see Evidence #10: (Trail Cam Footage). |
10 | Once you’re done investigating for the collectibles, head back to the portrait and choose Action: Prepare for Attack. |
11 | A cutscene with Jacob plays while he is lost and sad in the woods. A scene will also play as Emma and Abi are inside the surveillance room checking all their friends. |
12 | Kaitlyn and Dylan prepares for the attack as the monster appears and rips off the portrait. Action: Run. |
13 | Choose: Beam. |
14 | Action: Press X/A “Smash”. |
15 | Action: Run. |
16 | Choose: Investigate (if the got the silver shells from Chapter 9). |
17 | Action: Shoot. |
North Kill Woods
1 | You will take control of Laura in this part while she’s with Ryan and Travis. |

3 | Respond with “What exactly happened 6 years ago?” (Inquisitive). |
4 | QTE: Right analog on the right. |
5 | Action: Grab gun. |
6 | Action: Take cover. |
7 | QTE: Right analog downward. |
8 | Response (Laura): “Let’s fucking do this” (Determined). |
9 | Action: Give to Ryan. |
10 | Response (Laura): “Who was she?” (Probing). |
11 | Response (Laura): “That’s why you’ve been hunting him” (Reflective). |
12 | Interrupt Event: Don’t press X/A on “Raise Gun”. |
13 | QTE: Don’t press anything and just do nothing. (This will kill Travis). |
14 | Action: Shoot Silas. |
15 | A cutscene will play with Eliza and this concludes the game. |
