Multiplayer Mode Guide in The Quarry
The Quarry is set for release on June 10th, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. Ahead of its anticipated launch, a lot of players are asking about playing it as Multiplayer or if it’s available for online mode. Will there be a Multiplayer Mode?
Yes, the Quarry allows multiple ways for players to experience the game with friends and local play will be available at launch. 2K has confirmed the multiplayer mode and has also stated that you can play the game solo, or with up to seven other companions in local co-op with each player controlling a character’s actions.
Online Mode will be in a Future Update (Post-Launch)
The online multiplayer mode will be available on or by July 8th, 2022 and it is only supported across the same PlayStation and same Xbox generations, it also requires an internet connection and your platform’s online subscription service.
Is Cross-Play Supported?
As mentioned that the online multiplayer mode will be only supported across the same PlayStation and same Xbox generations, meaning you can only play online with other players with the same generation console. (PS4 to PS4, PS5 to PS5, Xbox One to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S to Xbox Series X|S).
