Below is a complete walkthrough for the Prologue Chapter in The Quarry. Included are all QTEs, dialogue options, action points, and collectibles to get the best ending (Keep Everyone Alive) in the game.

| 1 | QTE: Tilt right analog stick up. |

| 2 | Action: Pick Map |
| 3 | QTE: Tilt right analog stick right. |
| 4 | Once Laura gets out of the car, have her open the trunk. Then, press X (Snoop). |
| 5 | Head into the woods. Afterwards, pick “Hurry Up!” (Compliant) dialogue option. |
| 6 | From your starting location in the woods, go around left of the rock to get Tarot #1 (The Fool). |
| 7 | Continue going forward to find another glowing item next to a tree on the right for Fire Clue #1 (Harum Scarum Poster). |
| 8 | From where you found the poster, move ahead to the right until you reach a fork. Take the left path and open the chest to get Fire Clue #2 (Escapology Trunk). |
| 9 | Head back to the fork and take the right path this time. Follow the path to find Fire Clue #3 (Broken Cage) on your right. |
| 10 | Follow the main path forward. |
| 11 | QTE: Tilt right analog stick down then up. |
| 12 | Once Laura and Max are back in the car, Travis will appear. The correct dialogue choices are “Something jumped out” (Honest), “It was dark” (Honest), “We’re heading to camp” (Friendly), “We’ll head to the motel” (Compliant), and “That guy was weird” (Relieved). |

| 1 | Once you arrive at Hackett’s Quarry, watch the cutscene. Then, go down the stairs and walk all the way to the door where the car is facing. |
