What is the Spirit Torch?

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse - Spirit Torch

The Spirit Torch (also known as the Spirit Stone Flashlight) is a unique weapon in Fatal Frame / Project Zero 4: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Remaster (Project Zero 4 Remake) that uses stored moonlight to subdue ghosts and evil spirits in the game. It is only usable by Choshiro Kirishima, one of the game’s protagonists, and is his primary armament against enemies during his Phases (story chapters).

Usable only in Main Story Phases 3, 7, and 10.

The Spirit Torch can only be used when playing as Choshiro in Phase 3: The Forgotten Day, Phase 7: Without Suffering, and Phase 10: Lingering Cherry Blossom. Other characters (Ruka, Misaki, and Madoka) can only use the Camera Obscura as their main weapon.
