Game difficulty cannot be changed afterwards.

Once you have selected your preferred difficulty setting at the start of the game, it cannot be changed afterwards. Because of this, decide carefully which mode you want to play on before beginning a New Game to avoid getting locked out of unlocking certain trophies, achievements, and endings during  your playthrough.

Endings are tied to game difficulty.

The type of ending you get after clearing the final battle in Chapter 13 is based on the game difficulty you chose at the start of the game. Since there is no way to switch to a higher or lower difficulty once you begin the prologue chapter, you will be stuck to getting a specific ending throughout the main story.

All crystals spent on camera upgrades cannot be refunded.

All red and blue crystals used for upgrading the Camera Obscura’s lens and functions cannot be refunded once you have spent them. As a general rule of thumb, it is always recommended to upgrade the camera’s damage output as ghost enemies encountered in the later chapters have very high health.
