Ruka Minazuki is a young girl who lives on Rogetsu Isle. She likes playing the piano despite still learning it. Ruka no longer remembers anything about her past life due to her strange disappearance. Every time she plays a melody that she can recall, bits of her forgotten memories return to her. | Misaki Aso |
Misaki Aso is a young girl who is self-centered yet determined. She vanished without an explanation along with 4 individuals and is related to Dr. Kunihiko Aso, the inventor of Camera Obscura. | Choshiro Kirishima |
Choshiro Kirishima is a private investigator. He cooperated with the police and managed to locate Yo Haibara, a person of interest in a string of homicides. Choshiro came across the case of the girls’ mysterious disappearances while in Rogetsu Isle. | Sayaka Minazuki | Mother of Ruka Minazuki, she spends most of her time in bed due to her body being physically frail. Sayaka moved to Japan’s main island after learning that her husband Soya was responsible for Ruka’s mysterious disappearance. | Soya Yomotsuki | Soya Yomotsuki is the former spouse of Sayaka and the father of Ruka. He creates masks for the festival of Rogetsu Kagura, which is held to console the deceased. | Yo Haibara | Yo Haibara is a slim man with cold eyes. A native of Rogetsu Isle and the son of Shigeto Haibara, Yo founded the Haibara Clinic in Tokyo, where he conducted a human experiment that later resulted in a murder. | Shigeto Haibara | Shigeto Haibara is an influential Rogetsu Isle resident and the director of the Haibara Hospital. He also serves as the island’s priest and is a leader on the island. | Ayako | Ayako is a lady who has Moonlight Syndrome. Shigeto Haibara, the infirmary’s director, approved her admission to the facility.
