How to Add Friends in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (CoD: MW3)
Can be done from the Social screen from the game’s main menu.
You can add friends in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (CoD: MW3) by going to the Social screen from the game’s main menu.
Steps to Add Friends (via Player Name and Player ID)
| 1 | From the game’s main menu, open the game sub-menu by pressing the Start or Options button (gamepad). On PC, open the sub-menu from the top right corner of the screen. |

| 2 | Go to Social. |
| 3 | Select Add Friend. |
| 4 | Enter the Player Name and Player ID of the friend you want to add. |
| 5 | Wait for the player to accept your invite to add them into your Friends list. |
You can also add friends from your recent matches.
It is also possible to add people who you have recently played with online to your Friends list via the Recent tab of the Social menu. If you wish engage in more sessions with a random player, send them an invite after the match.
Steps to Add Friends (via Recent Lobby)
| 1 | From the game’s main menu, open the game sub-menu by pressing the Start or Options button (gamepad). On PC, open the sub-menu from the top right corner of the screen. |

| 3 | Open the Recent tab. |
| 4 | Select a player from the lobby you recently played in and choose Friend Request. |
| 5 | Wait for the player to accept your invite to add them into your Friends list. |
How to View Player ID
Can be viewed on the Social menu.
To view your own Player ID, open the Social menu and click on your own name. You can then post it on other boards or social platforms for people to add.
