Which Version Should You Buy?
Get the Vault Edition to fully enjoy Season 1.
In addition to all content included in the regular edition, the Vault Edition comes with BlackCell premium bundle which lets you obtain more rewards in Season 1 as well as 30 Battle Pass tier skips. If you want to get the most out of the game’s various multiplayer modes (Playlist), it is recommended buy the Vault Edition.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Pre-Order Bonuses and Game Editions
Aside from getting more seasonal rewards, the Vault Addition comes with several exclusive items to enhance your game. These are the Soul Harvester Tracer (weapon blueprint), Nemesis Operator Pack (exclusive Operator skins), and two (2) Weapon Vaults.
Get the regular edition if you only want to enjoy the story campaign.
If you do not care about the bonuses packaged in the Vault Edition are only interested in the game’s story campaign, you should simply get the regular edition.
While you are not entitled to the add-ons and Season 1 bonuses included in the Vault Edition, you can still get Early Access to the campaign missions, allowing you to play through the story ahead of the game’s official release.
