Double XP Tokens are among the rewards obtained for clearing story campaign missions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (CoD: MW3). Note that campaign mission rewards can only be received once so it is not possible to farm Double XP Tokens by clearing them multiple times.

You can also get Double XP Tokens for completing tier missions in Zombies (MWZ) mode. Each tier mission has different objectives that you must meet to receive the rewards.

Tier missions must be completed in sequential order. This means that you must complete lower tier missions first before being able to access higher tier ones in MWZ.

Double XP Tokens can also be received as rewards from the Battle Pass. Be sure to work your way up the seasonal reward system tiers to get more XP tokens once you have used up those obtained from the other two sources listed above.

Double XP Tokens are also given out during special seasonal or collaboration events which often have a limited period of availability. Because of this, it is recommended to focus on getting as many of the timed rewards as possible when an event starts in the game.

What are Double XP Tokens?

Consumable items that grant temporary character and weapon XP gain.

Double XP Tokens are consumable items that give you higher character and weapon XP gain for playing online matches in the game. They are among the most useful items to use when leveling up your character or a specific weapon to gain access to new features tied to player and gun level.

When to Use Double XP Tokens

Use during regular season weekdays.

The best time to use Double XP Tokens is during weekdays on regular non-event dates. These consumable items somewhat serve to help you catch up with grinding if you somehow missed playing during Double XP Weekends or other special promotion or collaboration events that give out double XP.

Use when you can play for extended hours.

You will want to spend Double XP Tokens when you have planned to play the game for an extended number of hours. Doing so lets you get the best value out of each token used by squeezing in as many games within the double XP active duration.

Do Double EXP Effects Stack?

Double XP Tokens do not stack with each other (to be confirmed).

While yet to be confirmed, it is expected that Double XP Token effects will not stack with each other in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (CoD: MW3), preventing you from temporarily gaining 4X Player XP (Double Player XP Tokens) or 4X Weapon XP (Double Weapon XP Tokens).

Double XP Tokens do not stack with Double XP Weekends (to be confirmed).

The effects of Double Player XP Tokens and Double Weapon XP Tokens are also not likely to stack during Double XP Weekends. This means that it is also not possible to get a quad multiplier on player or weapon XP gain at any point in the game.
