Four-Monster Synthesis Guide for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (DQ Monsters: The Dark Prince)
What is Four-Monster Synthesis?
Four-Monster Synthesis is a special type of breeding process in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (DQ Monsters: The Dark Prince). As its name suggests, this type of monster synthesis requires four (4) specific monster materials serving as “grandparents.”
DQ Monsters: The Dark Prince Monster Synthesis List
The offspring created by each pair of grandparents (regardless of their family type) can then be synthesized to birth the target monster required in the four-monster combination.

As can be seen in the table above, a Dark Sabrecat can be synthesized by using two (2) Great Sabrecats as the first set of grandparents (Grandparent 1A and 1B) and a Dark Sabrecub and a Bunicorn Queen as the second set of grandparents (Grandparent 2A and 2B).
Each pair of grandparents will then produce offspring that can be synthesized to create Dark Sabrecat. Note that the family type of both parents (Parent 1 and Parent 2) is irrelevant to the process as you will get the target offspring as long as the combination of grandparents is correct.

Other Tips on Monster Synthesis
Parent monsters disappear after synthesis.
Parent monsters used as materials for monster synthesis will disappear after the offspring has been created. This also applies to special four-monster combinations.

Because of this, it is recommended to turn off autosave from the game’s settings so you do not lose monsters by accidentally fusing them.
