How to Save
Automatically saves progress.
In Dragon Quest Monsters 3, there is an automatic saving feature. The system that automatically saves when you move to an area or when loading. While saving, a save icon will be displayed at the bottom right of the screen. The autosave only occurs, after a battle, moving to another area, c0-op mode, and after a story event.
Manually save from Menu system.
Players can also save their progress manually by going to System menu then clicking on Save.
There is only 1 save data.
This game has only one save of data slot. The save data is also not separated between manual save and from the autosave, so it is recommended to turn off auto save and just save manually using the system menu.
How to Turn Off Auto Save
Can be disabled from the main title screen or main menu under Others.
| 1 | Open the Main Menu settings. |

| 2 | Use R1 to go to System Tab. |
| 3 | Select on Others. |
| 4 | Then look for Auto Save and then click OFF. |
After turning off the autosave, you can just save your game progress at any time, which is very convenient and can be used on your advantage.
Manual save can make rerolling for Shiny Monsters possible.
One of the many advantages of turning off the autosave and manually saving is that you can reset and keep of rerolling to get Shiny Monster. By saving before monster synthesis and returning to the title if the result aren’t shiny, you can continue to keep loading on the manual save until you get your desired stats on a Shiny Monster.
