Phase 3: The Lost Day Walkthrough
Note: The walkthrough below is based on the original version of the game.
1F Haibara Hospital
| 1 | The Phase 3 will start after a scene with Sayaka asking Choshiro to help her daughter, Choshiro wakes up and see Yo Haibara, you will then take control of Choshiro Kirishima outside the Haibara Hospital. |

| 2 | Move towards where Yo Haibara is heading and you will obtain (Tape Recorder, Kirishima’s Notebook) and (Kirishima’s Investigation Record 1). |
| 3 | Enter the Haibara Hospital and watch the cutscene. After the cutscene, you will then get a tutorial about “Spirit Stone Flashlight” and a ghost battle will begin. |
Yoriko Sonohara, Sanae Hozuki and Katsuhito Kariya Ghost Battle
| 1 | After reading the tutorial, you will be fighting 3 ghosts. |

| 2 | Keep your distance to avoid being cornered and defeat them one at a time. |
| 3 | After the battle, you will obtain “Power-Up Lens “Develop” and “Equipped Function “Switch“. |
| 4 | Look for the save point and examine the blue light on the shoe rack nearby to get Herbal Medicine. Keep exploring to get (Notes on Wandering) at the reception desk and Red Crystals on the bench in the same area. |
2F Haibara Hospital → Doctor’s Office
| 1 | Find the elevator and a cutscene will play, proceed to the next floor and head north east near a door to get Blue Crystal. |

| 2 | Open the door that leads to the Doctor’s Office, examine the blue light nearby to get (Chart: Asagi Hizuki). |
| 3 | Look for a big window and aim your flashlight at the corner to find a doll, Hozuki doll #12. |
| 4 | Before entering the next door, examine the blue light on the shelf to get (Assistant’s Note 1). |
Former General Hospital → Doctor’s Office Revisit 1 → Sanae Hozuki Ghost Battle
| 1 | Upon opening the door, you will encounter Ghost#24: Long-Haired Girl, flash her with your flashlight. |

| 2 | There is a blue light on the nearby bed, examine it to get Red Crystal. |
| 3 | Go to the spot where the long haired girl was standing then you will obtain (Picture Diary 1). |
| 4 | After reading the diary, a ghost will show up behind a window. Follow the ghost. |
| 5 | You can find a wheelchair on the corner and aim your flashlight at the wheelchair to find a doll, Hozuki Doll #13. |
| 6 | Enter the corridor with ragged curtains, then proceed along the path until you see Ghost#25: Assistant Standing in Smoking Area directly in front of you. Flash him with your flashlight. |
| 7 | After the ghost encounter, examine the ashtray on the floor to get (Haibara Hospital Visitor’s Map) and (Flat Iron Key). |
| 8 | As you head back to the previous room, you will be attacked by a ghost. |
| 9 | This ghost will slowly approach you, take your time to charge up your attacks to easily beat the ghost. |
Doctor’s Office Revisit 2 → 1F Haibara Hospital
| 1 | Upon entering the Doctor’s Office, Ghost#26: Man Standing by Window will show up behind a window. Aim your flashlight at him and flash him. |

| 2 | Search the area until you come across a sink with a cracked mirror. Reach it until Ghost#27: Man Reflected in Mirror shows up behind the cracked mirror then flash him with your flashlight. |
| 3 | Leave the room and head back to 1F Haibara Hospital. |
Haibara Hospital, 1F Entrance Hall → Operating Theatre Hallway → Operating Theatre
| 1 | Head towards the Save Point, Ghost#28: Assistant Heading to Operating Theatre will appear heading towards a door. Flash him with your flashlight before he disappears. |

| 2 | You can save your progress on the lantern near the desk. and then answer the phone on the desk. |
| 3 | As you follow the path heading to the Operating Theatre, examine the blue lights on the couch and another one on the sink to get Blue Crystal and Herbal Medicine. |
| 4 | You can find Hozuki Doll# 14 above the sink. Aim your flashlight above to take a clear shot of the doll. |
| 5 | Turn around to find a locker with a blue light on it, examine it to obtain (Magazine “Mysterious Disappearances”) and some Red Crystals on the floor nearby, then pass through the door. |
| 6 | Follow the path leading to an operating table then aim your flash light at the operating table to capture Ghost #29: Operating Doctors. |
| 7 | Inside the room, you will find a sink, aim your flashlight below the sink and slightly move left to find Hozuki Doll #15. |
| 8 | Head back to the operating table, examine and prepare for a ghost battle. |
| 9 | This ghost will slowly approach you and reappears in a different spot, take your time to charge up your attacks to easily beat her. |
| 10 | After defeating her, you will obtain (Picture Diary 2) then examine the operating table again to obtain (Death Certificate: Asagi Hizuki). A ghost will appear walking towards the door; follow it and proceed to the next area. |
Archives → Operating Theatre Revisit 1 → Shoji Katagiri Ghost Battle
| 1 | Walk forward until your Ghost Filament turns red, aim your flashlight based on the direction of your Ghost Filament to capture Ghost# 30: Assistant Before Desk. |

| 2 | Inside the room there’s a shelf nearby, examine it to obtain (About the Rogetsu Kagura Dance) and a cutscene will play. |
| 3 | After watching the cutscene, examine the blue light from the spot of the ghost earlier to obtain (Assistant’s Note 2) then turn around to obtain some Red Crystals. |
| 4 | Look around the room and find a cabinet with broken glass, aim your flashlight inside the cabinet to find Hozuki Doll# 16. |
| 5 | You can now leave the room but as soon as you leave a ghost battle will begin. |
| 6 | This ghost can flash you with his own light, making you blind for a short time. Flash him before he can start using his light and charge at you. It may take some time to beat him since he has more health compared to the ghosts you defeated earlier. |
| 7 | After defeating the ghost, you will obtain (Kidnapping Case Prosecution Material) and you can now proceed to the hallway. |
Operating Theatre Hallway Revisit 1 → Asagi Hizuki and Sanae Houziki Ghost Battle
| 1 | On your way back to the entrance hall, two ghost will appear before you. |

| 2 | You may find this battle challenging given that you are fighting in a confined hallway. The ghosts will appear in front and behind you at the start of the battle. Move to a side where you can see both of them and take them out one at a time. |
| 3 | Proceed to the entrance hall after you defeat the ghosts. |
Haibara Hospital, 1F Entrance Hall Revisit 1 → Fuyuko Shiratsuki and Michihiko Ikushima Ghost Battle → Examining Room
| 1 | After a cutscene, you will hear the phone ringing again. You can save your progress on the lantern nearby before picking up the phone. |

| 2 | A ghost battle begins after you answer the phone. Use the same tactic you used when you previously fought two ghosts and since you already fought one of the ghosts in this battle, it won’t be difficult for you. |
| 3 | From the reception desk, move southwest and unlock the door using the key you obtained earlier. |
| 4 | As you walk into the room, you will see Hozuki Doll #17 sitting on a bench. |
| 5 | Continue moving forward until you see blue lights on a bed and on a cabinet with broken glass. Examine the blue lights to obtain (Interview – Takashi Aiba) and (Luna Sedata & the Moon). |
| 6 | Listen to the tape you recently obtained to gather more information. |
| 7 | Move forward until you come across two doors. Enter the door to your right. |
Reception→ Medical Records Office → Shoji Katagiri Ghost Battle
| 1 | Upon entering the room, turn to your left until Ghost #31: Nurse Placing Note appear in front of you. Flash her with your flashlight. |

| 2 | Pick up the Waning Moon Card on the spot where the nurse was standing. |
| 3 | Turn around to find Hozuki Doll #18 sitting on the corner. |
| 4 | Search for a medicine cabinet nearby to acquire Herbal Medicine and Sacred Water. Leave the room and enter the other door from earlier. |
| 5 | As you enter the room, your Ghost Filament will turn red. Aim your flashlight at Ghost #33: Assistant Hiding Something and flash him before he disappears. |
| 6 | Continue moving forward until you notice a beeping sound from a communication device. Enter the room where the device is located. |
| 7 | Inside the room, head to the back and examine the blue light on top of a shelf to obtain Cloudy Moon Box. |
| 8 | Turn around to find Hozuki Doll #19 on a ladder and examine a blue light nearby to obtain some Blue Crystals. |
| 9 | Head back to the device and examine it to obtain (Assistant’s Note 3). |
| 10 | After reading the assistant’s note, examine the device again and prepare for a ghost battle. |
| 11 | You fought this ghost before, but this fight may be a bit harder since you will be fighting him in a confined room. Keep your distance and charge up your attacks to beat him. |
| 12 | After the ghost battle, you can now enter the next area. |
Director’s Office Hallway → B1F Haibara Hospital → Underground Passageway
| 1 | Move forward until you come across a blue light on a stretcher. Examine it to obtain some Red Crystals. |

| 2 | On your way to the stairs, you will see a door; ignore it for the time being and continue your way downstairs. |
| 3 | A cutscene will play when you reach the metal bars. Then, Ghost# 34: Assistant on the Other Side of Bars will appear behind the bars. Flash him with your flashlight before he disappears. |
| 4 | Behind the bars, there is a blue light you can reach. Reach it to obtain Waxing Moon Card, Cloudy Moon Box and (Encrypted Memo). |
| 5 | Continue moving forward until you see blue lights on a bed and on a cabinet with broken glass. Examine the blue lights to obtain (Interview – Takashi Aiba) and (Luna Sedata & the Moon). |
| 6 | Turn around until you see a blanket nearby. Move to your left until you are pressed up against the wall. Point your flashlight at the bottom of the blanket to find Hozuki Doll #20. |
| 7 | Go upstairs and enter the door that you ignored earlier. |
Director’s Office → B2F Haibara Hospital
| 1 | Once you open the door, Ghost #35: Director Crossing Before Door appears directly in front of you. Aim your flashlight at him and flash him. |

| 2 | Search the bookshelves on your left side to get some Blue Crystals. |
| 3 | Point your flashlight at the bottom of the bookshelves on your right to find Hozuki Doll #21. |
| 4 | Turn around and search the bookshelf to obtain (Director Haibara’s Note 1). |
| 5 | After reading the note, approach the desk and solve a puzzle to unlock the door where the ghost was headed. |
| 6 | In order to unlock the door, you must enter a three-digit code. The clue is on the (Encrypted Memo) you obtained earlier. |
| 7 | Solve the puzzle to get the three-digit code, but if it is giving you a hard time, here is the answer: 276 |
| 8 | Enter the code to unlock the door and proceed to the next area. |
B2F Laboratory → Katsuhito Kariya Ghost Battle → Old Tunnel
| 1 | Once you enter the laboratory, a ghost will appear before you. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Defeat the ghost of Katsuhito Kariya. In this battle you can wait for him to bloom and get a shot of Ghost #164 Katsuhito Kariya – Blooming. |
| 3 | Check around the area and look for blue lights to obtain some Blue Crystals and (Luna Sedata Syndrome Research). |
| 4 | Head downstairs, and below the stairs you can find Hozuki Doll #22 in a box. |
| 5 | Look for a dead end and pick up the blue light to obtain Power Up Lens “Pierce”. |
| 6 | Follow the path heading east and enter the tunnel. |
| 7 | A cutscene will play and Phase 3: The Lost Day will be cleared. |
