Early strategies
When playing Fire Emblem: Heroes or any Fire Emblem game, you’re going to need a strategy. And in the early part of the game, it’s not just all about brute force. While brute forcing through the battle is a viable tactic, it’s harder when the terrain is turned against you. Thus, you really have to play smart. Playing smart early on not only saves lives but also time used when playing through a certain level.
Tips on How To Survive in the Early Stages
Place your faith in the Gacha
The Gacha is the summoning system in Fire Emblem: Heroes that allows you to summon warriors. In doing so, you can either get an extremely rare hero or get something that doesn’t work well for you. However, in most games with a similar summoning system, the first hero summoned usually comes out as a 3 star or 4 star ranked creature.
You can also do the Reset Marathon to improve your chances.
Go through the story
When you go through the story, it gives a lot of EXP especially in training your heroes. Because of this, it’ll raise the power of your heroes and grinding won’t be so bad. Run through the easier stages and you can also run the automatic mode to help go through the stages faster.
Training Tower‘s open for all those who wish to train.
The training tower‘s where you’ll be able to train your characters and raise their EXP. Because of that, the levelling up of your characters may not necessarily rely purely on the story. Also, the Awakening materials – such as feathers and emblems – have a higher drop rate so all that grinding may be worth it in the Training Tower.
Check out the Arena!
The Arena may include PvP but this also means that you’ll have good exp drops. The ranking in the arena is dependent on your level and your initial ranking. So, rest assured. Many of the enemies you’ll come across will at least be a level or 2 higher than you.
You have a three-time entry before having to wait for your stamina to replenish.
