Stats

At Level 1, Jakob is quite powerful for being one of the few that can attack Diagonally. He also has a high chance rate of his attack dealing double damage. His base damage initially was around 13 damage and can end up doubling on contact. While he can be quite squishy for his low defense, he’s practically what people call a Glass Cannon for his insane damage.

How to Use

Similar to Jakob, Gaius is considered a weaker version of Jakob. He deals more condition damage than he does Jakob. However, his abilities have an advantage. Pair him up with an armoured unit such as Draug, Effie or, Hektor to bring out the best of his abilities. He’s also useful in fighting where there are cliffs. When using Gaius, it’s best to have him either far to exploit the distance or behind a wall.

Why is he recommended?

Gaius debuffs the enemy which can be particularly useful in dealing damage for your other characters. He can also grant speed to your ally after fighting an enemy. This will particularly help in giving your characters an attack advantage against them.
