Stats

Katarina’s ATK and Spd make her increasingly powerful. As a hero summonable only as a 5☆, Katarina is often rare and doesn’t appear in most banners. However, her stats begin to double especially when placed near her allies. Her weapon allows her stats to multiply depending on the number of allies near her.

Strategy

Katarina has a high ATK power and coupled with her weapon, makes her a deadly force. She is only summonable as a 5☆ which makes her increasingly rare. However, upon receiving Katarina, she can easily take out Armored Forces such as Hektor. Katarina is similar to Celica save for not taking a demerit of -5 HP for attacking at full power and increased ATK.

One of the ways to place Katarina is to place her behind a tanky healer like Azama. Because of her weapon, Rauðrowl+, her stats double depending on how many teammates are near her. The formation must be in the shape of a “T” in order for Katarina to benefit the most out of this effect. One build she can go with is Rally ATK which allows her to buff her allies. Another tactic is to grant Quick Riposte which will allow her to abuse her extremely high ATK power.

Vantage is also a good skill to teach Katarina especially when she reaches Vantage 3. If she inherits the skill from Lon’qu, it’ll expand her repertoire and versatility as a unit.

Counter

  • Kagero – Kagero has Poison Dagger and Poison Dagger+ which grants her increased damage against Infantry. As a colorless Dagger, she also has a 2 space range which allows her to reach Katarina. If Kagero also has Vantage, she can outstrip Katarina before the girl can attack her. The more Katarina damages her, the strong Kagero’s Retribution hits.
  • Berkut – Berkut is a Cavalry unit with heightened DEF and RES. His inherent large mobility makes it easy for him to chase Katarina. At the same time, he has an inherently large RES, allowing him to easily take her down.
  • SubakiSubaki has a high RES and his flier type allows him to catch her easy.
  • Robin (M) – Both are tomes but Robin (M) has more defensive capability than Katarina. He can win against her via attrition.
