Game Difficulty Guide for Forza Motorsport 8
Drivatar (AI) difficulty can be changed before and in-between races and practice sessions (Builders Cup Career Mode).
You can adjust the difficulty of rival Drivatars in Forza Motorsport 8 (2023) before and in-between a race or practice session in Builders Cup Career Mode.. This allows you to freely tweak the challenge provided by AI-controlled drivers based on your own skill and preference so you can improve your driving while progressing through the game.
AI Drivatar Difficulty Levels
CPU Drivatar difficulty ranges from 1 to 8, with the highest value being considered “unbeatable” by the game’s standards. As you increase the AI level, rival drivers will make fewer mistakes and will frequently take the best driving line to overtake or maintain their position in the race.
Start with the Default Drivatar difficulty until you can consistently win races.
In general, we recommended spending time on the game’s default Drivatar difficulty so you can hone your driving skills on the game’s standard setting. Players you will eventually race against online will be extremely competitive so you will want to at begin learning the game’s fundamentals and the layout of tracks on nothing lower than the default AI difficulty.
Useful for Farming car XP (CXP) and car points (CP).
You can lower the AI level to make farming car XP (CXP) and car points (CP) easier in Career Mode as the CPU-controlled rival drivers you will be up against will not be too challenging to overtake during the race.
Drivatar Difficulty Bonus and Ruleset Bonus
You can earn more money when you achieve a podium finish at racing events on higher AI difficulties and more challenging rulesets. If you are confident in your driving skills and current car setup, try racing against more competitive CPU-controlled drivers on Sport or Expert Rules to collect more Podium Bonuses at the end of the event.
