How to Use Photo Mode

What is Photo Mode?

Forza Motorsport 8 features a Photo Mode that allows players to capture in-game images, including cars, tracks, and even the environment in the game. Even though taking a quick photo in Photo Mode is rather simple, you may want to explore the various options and effects available in the menu to add more details to your photo.

How to Open Photo Mode
  • Start a race.
  • Pause the game.
  • Select Photo Mode.
  • Adjust the settings.
  • Select Take Photo.

Photo Mode Settings and Effects

In Photo Mode, you will be able to adjust the settings and effects in order to get the perfect shot. Try and experiment with the effects to hone your skills in photography in the game.

Shutter Speed

The length of time that the camera’s shutter remains open. If you have it set to 0, the car will appear to be motionless in the photograph, despite the fact that it is actually still moving.

Focus

This function determines the degree to which the camera will concentrate its focus on the object that has been centered and focused.

Aperture

This function mimics the aperture of the lenses. When it is increased, the overall appearance of the background will become blurry.

Exposure

The amount of light that is emitted per area. Overexposure may result in photographs that look faded and produce highlights that are overexposed. Photos that have been underexposed are those that are dark and difficult to see.

Contrast

The degree of contrast to which the photo’s black and white areas differ from one another. A wider range of color options is available with higher settings.

Color

This function is the color saturation of the photo. By lowering this setting to 0, you can take images in black and white.

Brightness

Brightness refers to how dark or light the photo appears. Adjusting the brightness of the photo can help increase the visibility of the dark portions of the photo.

Sepia

A function that adds a brownish tint to black and white photos.

Vignette

Tones down the brightness or the saturation of the photo’s edges. Note that there are three formats of vignette.
