How Long Does it Take to Beat Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Main Story?
More than around 70 hours to clear the main story.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth‘s main story campaign will take more than 70 hours to complete, surpassing the 30 to 50 hour-mark required to beat its predecessor Yakuza: Like a Dragon released in 2020.
In an exclusive interview with Automaton Media, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama has revealed that the game’s main quests alone “would take 3-4 days without sleep” while doing little to no optional content such as mini games and Substories (the game’s version of side quests).
If you wanted to clear only the main story of Infinite Wealth, it would take about 3-4 days without sleep. That means no sleep, no detours, and almost no side stories, so please enjoy the game bit by bit, without losing any sleep.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth offers a massive amount of side content from the game’s numerous mini games to near-standalone game modes such as Dondoko Island and the popular Pokemon-esque Sujimon battles.
Because of the game’s sheer volume of things to do in the game, will not be a surprise for players to be putting in as much as 100 hours to achieve 100% completion. Furthermore, a good number of achievements are added to the base game for players who purchase the Master Vacation Bundle DLC which contain new story sections, an bonus dungeon, more Sujmon to collect, and even more items and outfits to obtain.
The estimated playtime numbers to simply beat Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s main story or get 100% completion easily make it the largest and most ambitious entry in the entire Yakuza series to date. Players can expect to sink in dozens of hours outside of the game’s narrative thanks to the game being jam-packed with content variety typical of the beloved franchise.
