Change jobs in the Alo-Happy Room at Alo-Happy Tours (Waikiki Street West).
You can change into jobs you have unlocked in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth by going to the Alo-Happy Tours building at Waikiki Street West. Once inside, simply enter the Alo-Happy Room to switch any character to a different job.
How to Unlock Alo-Happy Tours
Becomes accessible during Chapter 5: Suspicious Minds.
Alo-Happy Tours becomes accessible during Chapter 5: Suspicious Minds, allowing you to start unlocking and changing into different jobs in the game.
How to Unlock Jobs
Raise your Personality Stats.
You can unlock more jobs to change into by raising Kasuga’s Personality Stats through various activities in the game. Among the things that level up your attributes include interacting with various characters in Aloha Links, playing mini games, and passing Ounabara Vocational School exams.
Once you have raised your Personality stats to a certain level, head to Alo-Happy Tours to find new job-unlock activities to participate in. Note that most of these tasks require you to pay a fixed fee as well so having enough money on-hand is also important if you want to gain access to new jobs in the game.
Level up bonds with allies.
You can also gain access to new jobs if you level up your bonds with various party members. To raise your bond levels with allies, try triggering unique bond events with them such as Walk & Talks (Bond Bingo), Meal Talks, and Drink Links.
Others ways to deepen your bond with allies include playing mini games together, giving your characters presents that they like, triggering Party Chat, and clearing battles with them.
When to Change Jobs
After learning Extreme Techniques.
It is recommended to change jobs once a character has learned Extreme Techniques from reaching specific job ranks in the game. Extreme Techniques can be transferred to different jobs, expanding a character’s options and strategies available to them in battle.
After gaining increased stats.
Raising your job rank gives you useful boosts to a character’s base and job stats. Because of this, try changing to as many jobs as you can and raise each one’s job rank to benefit from the bonuses granted to your character’s base attributes in battle.
Benefits of Changing Jobs
Lets you inherit Extreme Techniques of other jobs.
Extreme Techniques learned from one job can be transferred to another. This grants a character a wider arsenal of abilities to use in battle which can synergize with other techniques learned by other characters.
You can initially inherit a maximum of 4 Extreme Techniques to a different job. This can be increased to 6 once you raise your bond level in the game.
Stat increase can be carried over to different jobs.
The stat increases gained for reaching specific job levels carries over to any job you change into. Job stat bonuses unique to each job, however, cannot be inherited between jobs.
