Does Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Have Cross-Play and Cross-Save?
Cross-play may be supported (to be confirmed).
While yet to be revealed from official sources, it is expected that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will support cross-play, allowing other players on different platforms to interact with each other online.
This assumption is made with Infinite Wealth’s upcoming Dondoko Island feature which lets players design their own resort island that both AI-controlled characters as well as other players can visit.
Cross-save between different platforms is likely not supported (to be confirmed).
The possibility of a cross-save feature for Infinite Wealth has also not been confirmed as of this time, though it is not expected to implemented as with the previous Like a Dragon title. This means that players may not be able to transfer their game data from one platform to another to pick-up where they left off.
Cross-save between platforms from the same manufacturer may be enabled (to be confirmed).
A possible exception to this is the likelihood of cross-save being supported between devices from the same manufacturer. Playstation users may be able to migrate their save files from the Playstation 4 (PS4) and Playstation 5 (PS5) via linked Playstation Network (PSN) accounts.
Players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC might be able to do the same using Xbox Game Pass’s similar features and services, though these have yet to be confirmed form official sources.
