Kasuga’s best early-game job is the Hero. It is an extremely well-rounded job with high-damage skills (both single- and multi-target) and access to useful buff and revive abilities. The Hero job also boasts respectable damage output with both basic attacks and skills using bat weapons.
All of these good traits are complemented with good survivability owing to the job’s above-average defense.

Best Early-Game Job for Kiryu: Dragon of Dojima
The Dragon of Dojima is the best job for Kiryu which he starts with in the game. This class is essentially a versatile offensive powerhouse that can adjust to a wide variety of enemy types in the game. While in this job, Kiryu has excellent damage output via combos with Dragon’s Resurgence and unique Heat Actions. Despite these pros, the Dragon of Dojima has low MP, though the class does not need a lot in battle anyway.
Offense and survivability of the Dragon of Dojima job is furthered boosted by Awakening parameters that uniquely affect the job. You also do not need to purchase weapons for Kiryu as this job does not need them which lets you save money.

The HP recovery skills that the Pyro Dancer has access to work to compensate for Tomizawa’s lackluster defense, granting him better survivability to continue supporting allies in battle.

One method to unlock new jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is to clear job-unlock activities at Alo-Happy Tours on Waikiki Street West. Note that each activity offered at Alo-Happy Tour’s office will require you to have the sufficient levels of various Personality Stats. A fee must also be settled to begin each job-unlock activity in the game.
How to Unlock Alo-Happy Tours
Becomes accessible near the beginning of the game’s main story.
Alo-Happy Tours becomes available early on during the game’s main story. This means that you will get access to new jobs not too long after you begin the game’s story chapters as well.
How to Change Jobs
Change jobs in the Alo-Happy Room at Alo-Happy Tours (Waikiki Street West).
You can change into jobs you have unlocked by going to the Alo-Happy Tours. Once inside, simply enter the Alo-Happy Room to switch any character to a different job.
When to Change Jobs
After learning Extreme Techniques.
It is recommended to change jobs once a character has learned Extreme Techniques from reaching specific job ranks in the game. Extreme Techniques can be transferred to different jobs, expanding a character’s options and strategies available to them in battle.
After gaining increased stats.
Raising your job rank gives you useful boosts to a character’s base and job stats. Because of this, try changing to as many jobs as you can and raise each one’s job rank to benefit from the bonuses granted to your character’s base attributes in battle.
Benefits of Changing Jobs
Lets you inherit Extreme Techniques of other jobs.
Extreme Techniques learned from one job can be transferred to another. This grants a character a wider arsenal of abilities to use in battle which can synergize with other techniques learned by other characters.
You can initially inherit a maximum of 4 Extreme Techniques to a different job. This can be increased to 6 once you raise your bond level in the game.
Stat increase can be carried over to different jobs.
The stat increases gained for reaching specific job levels carries over to any job you change into. Job stat bonuses unique to each job, however, cannot be inherited between jobs.
