Infiltrate the Seiryu Clan through the Sakura River – Go through the sewers and infiltrate Seiryu HQ.

| 6 | At the save room, you can fully recover the party’s HP and MP. There is also a Helmet (headgear) on the right. Be sure to save before climbing up the ladder to reach Seiryu Clan HQ. |

Chapter 1: Doin’ the Best I Can Strategy Guide
Defeat Shinya Sasaki.
Just use basic attacks and skills to take him down. You can also perform Perfect Guard by timing the ◯ button just as the boss’ attack lands reduce incoming damage received.
You can also use Tenacious Fist skill to deal damage to Sasaki. Time the □ or △ buttons when the prompt appears on the screen to deal more damage with the skill.
Increase Personality Stats through dialogue choices (Personality Chance).
Personality Chance events like the one with Hamako frequently appear during the main story. Be sure to choose the specific answers to get points that raise your Passion, Confidence, Charisma, Kindness, Intellect, and Style attributes throughout the game.
Defeat the Street Thugs.
When fighting the Street Thugs, go near the bicycle to use it to attack. Most objects around the battlefield will allow you to deal more damage than with just basic attacks so try moving around to see what things you can interact with or pick up during the fight.
Be sure to take advantage of the proximity bonus by moving closer to your target after selecting attack. Doing so applies a small damage increase to your attack. Finally, remember to Perfect Guard when you can to minimize the damage Kasuga takes throughout the fight.
Enemy Strength
The strength of enemies wandering the streets is indicated by the symbol above their heads (which can mean Weak, Fair, Strong, or Dangerous). This will give you an idea how tough the fight will be so decide carefully if you want to engage a foe while exploring the map.
Pick up items while exploring.
You can grab useful consumable items like Natural Herb, Superior Herb, and Dumpster Bento lying around alleyways, bushes, and open areas around the map. Keep your eyes peeled for shiny objects on the grab indicating an item you can loot.
Treasure Hunt
Items indicated by glowing gold spots allow you to pick up treasure using the Treasure Hunt ability. You will usually get spare change from these gathering spots, though you will occasionally be able to pick up Copper Plates and Paper Plates to sell off at shops.

Defeat the Men’s Vice Journalist (Asakura).
You will be severely outnumbered during this fight so prepare to use Perfect Guard to take as little damage as possible. Make liberal use of Tenacious Fist and Rock Swing to quickly burst down each target. Be sure to get in close to maximize the proximity bonus when attacking as well.
Buy equipment and items at shops.
You can starting buying new weapons and armor after Kasuga’s job changes from Freelancer to Hero. Head to Love Magic to get the Jumbo Sausage for Adachi and Bamboo Broom for Nanba. The somewhat pricey Massive Massage Machine is also a good weapon to upgrade to for Kasuga as it grants attacks and weapons the chance to paralyze targets.
If you still have some cash left, you can equip everyone with Gore Boots, Pure White Briefs, or even the Hoodie for increased defense as well. You can also buy the pricey Health Ring accessory here if you want, though you will be able to pick one up later at the Underground Waterway.
Aside from Love Magic, feel free to get some healing items at Poppo convenience stores if you can.
Substories
You will automatically begin the game’s first Substory (Substory 1: Radio Active) on the way to Seiryu Clan HQ. Substories are the game’s version of side quests that you can do to earn rewards or unlock new features throughout the game. Clearing Substory 1, for instance, will make the Playlist app available on Kasuga’s smartphone as well allowing him to tune into the radio using jukeboxes at home or at bars.

Save before following the Chief at the homeless shelter.
Choosing to “Follow Chief” at the homeless shelter will begin an extended story sequence consisting of continuous battles. You will not be able to return to the city (preventing you from accessing shops and other areas) afterwards.
Before proceeding, it is recommended to save your game in case you want to go back and purchase equipment and items at Love Magic or Poppo.
Stock up on healing items before following Chief.
As mentioned, you will need to go through an extended dungeon section once you decide to “Follow Chief.” Try to stock up on healing items at Poppo so you can manage the party’s HP better, especially during battles at Seiryu Clan HQ.
Level up before following Chief.
You will be up against the chapter boss Kuwaki later who will be at level 7. Before proceeding further, you can take the time to grind a few levels through random battles if you want to have an easier time against Kuwaki.

How to Open Safes
Locked safes containing rare weapons, armor, accessories, and other useful items can be found in dungeons and in various maps of the game. To open them, you need a Safe Key which is obtained as loot while exploring or rewarded for defeating Keepers of the City enemies.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth All Safe Locations and Guide
Defeat Kuwaki (Boss).
Kuwaki will be at level 7 and hits considerably harder than most of the Seiryu thugs you have encountered thus far. To be able to absorb more damage from his hits, try doing Perfect Guards whenever he attacks.
Kuwaki also frequently assumes a guard stance during the fight so approaching him from behind and performing Back Attacks will let you bypass his defenses.
At about half HP, Kuwaki will call allies to grab you. Be ready to press the △ button during the QTE to break free from his minions and launch a counterattack.
Try to thin out the numbers of Kuwaki’s minions first by using Nanba’s multi-target skills. Then, focus on Kuwaki again and wail on him from behind. To not hesitate to use healing items if you need to if any of your ally’s HPs get too low.
