What is Dragon’s Resurgence?
Dragon of Dojima’s unique ability
The Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu’s character-exclusive job, has an ability known as the Dragon’s Resurgence. This ability allows Kazuma Kiryu to turn the turn-based battle into a full-on action battle for a certain period of time.
Furthermore, using the Dragon’s Resurgence in battle will give the new players a grip on the previous Like a Dragon titles’ action genre while also giving long-time fans of the series a nostalgic taste of the past titles.

How to Use Dragon’s Resurgence
Fill up the Hype Meter.
Hype Meters can be seen as a yellow infinity sign near the characters’ HP bars. In order to activate the characters or job class’s special abilities, you must first fill up the Hype Meters to their maximum capacity, including Kazuma Kiryu’s Dragon’s Resurgence.
Press and hold the R2 button.
Once Kazuma Kiryu’s Hype Meter is full, press and hold the R2 button during his turn. Doing so will activate the Dragon’s Resurgence, enabling players to temporarily enter an action battle system, similar to the previous Like a Dragon titles.
Press the Square, Circle, and Triangle buttons to perform attacks.
To perform attacks while in Dragon’s Resurgence mode, press the square, circle, or triangle buttons. These action buttons will allow Kazuma Kiryu to punch, kick, or unleash heavy attacks. Mix up the action buttons to perform devastating combos on the enemies.
