How to Perfect Guard in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Press Guard a Bit Earlier before Attack Hits
To do a perfect guard you need to press circle button right before the enemy attacks hits you. Pressing the circle button too late or too early will make you fail to block the attacks. Mashing the circle button to guard doesn’t work either, so try to time the button perfectly.
You can still do a perfect guard with or without selecting guard command during the command selection.
Use Guard Command to Reduce More Damage
You can use guard command during the command selection to reduce more damage while guarding. It’s stated before that you can do a perfect guard without using guard command, but if you use guard command and do a perfect guard you will reduce more damage than simply perfect guarding without using guard command.
How to Guard
Press Circle When Enemy Attacks
You can guard by pressing circle when the enemy attacks you to reduce incoming damage. Guard reduced damage is less than perfect guard but it’s still better than taking enemy attacks without guarding.
