How to Swim Guide for Like a Dragon 8: Infinite Wealth (Yakuza 8)
Head to the beach.
First and foremost, if you want to swim, you must head directly to the beach. Continue moving ahead until Kasuga reaches a depth beyond his foot’s reach and takes a swimming position.
Swimming Tips and Controls
While in the water, press W, A, S, and D to paddle around, and if you want to switch to the front crawl swimming stance, press E. You can also dive and explore underwater by pressing the Space Bar.

Dive down to get items.
There may be some items lying around the ocean floor, so dive down and look for lights to get the items.
Avoid getting hit by passing boats.
Swimming in the ocean is undoubtedly fun, but it also poses risks. One is being hit by passing boats, which can harm your HP. If you are low on HP, you may get knocked out completely, resulting in death penalty. Therefore, try not to get hit by any boats you come across.
