What are Keepers of the City in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
Strong enemies that appear in various locations around the map.
Special enemies called Keepers of the City that are significantly stronger than regular mobs appear in fixed locations all around the map in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. These enemies are indicated by the crown icon that appear above their heads.
Drops Safe Keys and crafting materials upon defeat.
Defeating Keepers of the City lets you obtain useful items, such as Safe Keys and crafting materials. Because of this, it is recommended to spend time hunting these targets down as you progress through the game’s main story.
How to Beat Keepers of the City (Tips)
Exploit the enemy’s weaknesses in battle.
Keepers of the City enemies boast higher attack power, defense, and HP compared to regular foes so you will need to know and exploit their weaknesses to gain the upper-hand in battle.
Try to decide the best jobs, skills, and equipment before engaging Keepers to allow you to constantly damage foes with damage types they are vulnerable against. Note that some Crown Mark enemies will be accompanied by other enemies who may be weak to different attributes as well.
Summon Poundmates to help you.
Do not hesitate to call Poundmates to aid you in battle. Being able to stack as much damage to as many enemies as you can or activate healing effects and buffs for your party will help you seize victory against Keepers in the game.
Use items to improve survivability.
Stocking up on healing items and other useful consumables is also recommended before taking on Keepers enemies to make it easier to manage the party’s HP during the fight. Some Keepers will even use status-inflicting skills on your team so having enough supplies to cure these will make for a smoother battle.
