Tips to Earn Money Fast
Do Substories.
One of the best ways to steadily earn money in the game is to do as many Substories (side quests) as you can while going through the main story. Substories often reward money in addition to many useful gear and consumable items which can also be sold off at shops for extra cash.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Substories List
Use Smackdown when farming low-level enemies.
You can speed up the process of farming money and items from low-level enemies by instantly defeating them using Smackdown.
Note that you will earn less EXP for ending encounters this way so it is recommended to take down foes normally if you also want to grind levels.
Sell unwanted items at shops.
Any unwanted equipment and items you have in your inventory should be sold off at shops. Doing so lets you rake in some extra cash in addition to clearing your inventory space for when you pick up more valuable items later on.
