Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth introduces a new cast of playable characters that form Kasuga’s ragtag bunch, each with their own unique jobs, strengths, and weaknesses.

Cabbie (Eric Tomizawa)
“Armed with a wrench, the Cabbie uses his mechanical experience to manipulate electricity and water. It can leverage special techniques to exploit enemy weaknesses and inflict debuffs on them. A job that can turn the tides of battle by exploiting status ailments!”
Heiress (Chitose Fujinomiya)
“A battle style that utilizes various disciplines, centered around dance, to manipulate enemies. The Heiress can uses its speed to outmaneuver others and alter the flow of combat. A job that possesses skills that reduce the enemy’s Attack and Agility, making it effective against formidable opponents.”
Assassin (Seonhee)
“A battle style that utilizes needles, crossbows, and other lethal weaponry for a quick kill. The Assassin utilizes whips and projectiles to render enemies immobile and deprive them of opportunities to attack.”
Sujimancer (Ichiban Kasuga)
“A unique battle style that fights with the help of “Sujimon” that the user can train. This job is unique because it allows you to summon various types of Sujimon and fight in a variety of ways such as attacking and healing. The more you level-up a Sujimon, the stronger it becomes.”

Samurai
“A battle style that excels in handling swords and bows, specializing in consecutive attacks and area-of-effect attacks. The Samurai’s sword techniques can cause enemies to bleed, which will increase the amount of damage dealt. It can also use bows to attack multiple enemies, giving it a range of options to deal with different foes.”
Aquanaut
“A battle style that utilizes marine creatures and marine-themed items to confuse opponents. The Aquanaut boasts an array of unique techniques inspired by the sea, allowing the user to blind enemies with squid ink or paralyze them with electric jellyfish. A well-rounded job capable of both offense and healing, making it extremely user-friendly.”
Desperado
“A battle style that uses dual pistols, dynamite, and rope, and excels in taking out multiple enemies. The Desperado can learn various status ailment techniques and possesses the wherewithal to take down any target.”
New Female-Exclusive Jobs
Kunoichi
“A battle style that bewilders enemies with astonishing speed and ninjutsu techniques. The Kunoichi can use Substitution Jutsu to swap turns with allies and use clones to deal tremendous damage. A job that can use its quick agility to trick enemies and employ ninjutsu to completely alter the course of battle.”
Housekeeper
“A battle style that utilizes cleaning techniques to elegantly sweep away enemies. The Housekeeper specializes in multi-target combat, using mops, vacuum cleaners, and other tools of the trade to attack enemies over a wide area.”
Geodancer
“A battle style that uses mysterious dances to attack enemies and provide support to allies. The Geodancer possesses extremely high Magic and is capable of unleashing powerful elemental techniques. A well-balanced job that excels in both bolstering and healing allies.”
New Bond System
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth introduces new gameplay mechanics that allow players to deepen their bond with allies throughout the game. By spending time with Kasuga and Kiryu’s comrades, players can unlock new jobs and abilities to form an unbeatable team.
Walk & Talk Events
Walk & Talks are special events that happen in specific locations in the game strengthen your relationship with various ally characters. Each party member (with the exception of Kasuga himself) has a unique set of Walk & Talks listed on a special character menu called a Bond Bingo card.
Bond Bingo Card
Whenever players view a Walk & Talk event, an item is crossed out of the Bond Bingo while rewarding players with bond level points for a specific character.
Walk & Talk events occur at locations marked with pink heart marks around the map. You can view the bond event by going to that location and pressing the △ (Y) button.
When viewing a character’s Walk & Talk event, your Bond with them will increase by 10 points which will be recorded in the Bond Bingo Card screen. Completing the Bond Bingo, meanwhile, will let you earn as much as 25 Bond points.
Meal Talks
Meal Talks, meanwhile, are another type of bond event that occurs whenever Kasuga eats out with allies and order specific meal combos. Players can increase their bond with friends by ordering food that they at various restaurants in the game.
Other Ways to Raise Bond Levels
Give your allies presents.
A gift icon may sometimes appear when you enter certain shops in the game. This means that a gift can be purchased for one of your friends to increase your bond level with them.
Bear in mind that each of your friends will prefer a gift that suits their own personal taste. Because of this, try to get to know them more through bond walks and other events so you can pick out the best gift for them.
Play mini games together.
You can also deepen your bond with characters by spending time with them at play spots (mini game areas). Try taking your allies to sing at the karaoke bar or play darts with them to raise bond levels throughout the main story.
Trigger party chats.
Triggering party chats in specific locations in the game can also raise your bond level with various party members. Look for green titles that appear on the left side of the screen. In these conversations with allies, you will sometimes be given choices that can lead to increased bond levels with allies.
Clear battles.
Bond levels also go up whenever you clear battles with party members. You gain a +1 increase in Bond with allies for defeating regular enemies and a +10 for taking down bosses and tougher foes. In general, the stronger the enemies you win against, the faster your Bond Levels go up.
Benefits of Raising Bond Levels
Allows you to learn new Tag Team attacks.
Raising your Bond with allies lets you learn new moves like Tag Team attacks that make their debut in the game.
Performing a Bond Pursuit or ending a character’s turn will cause the gauge to the right of the character icon (called the Hype Meter) to fill up. To activate a Tag Team attack, press the R2 button in the order in which a character has filled up their gauge.
Ultimate Tag Team Attacks
It is also possible to unleash an even more powerful Tag Team attack called the Ultimate Tag Team during Kasuga’s turn. To perform the Ultimate Tag Team, all characters who have learned a Tag Team Attack must have filled up their gauges by the time Kasuga is able to act.
Note that you can hold off using your accumulated Hype Meter and save it for the next battle. This means that it is possible to save a Tag Team and Ultimate Tag Team attack for when you are about to take on powerful foes, especially bosses, during the main story.
Activates passive abilities during Bond Drama.
Useful passive abilities can also be learned by raising your Bond Levels and triggering Bond Dramas. Many of these passive skills grant effects that can give you the edge in battle such as increasing the activation rate of Bond Pursuit on enemies knocked down by allies or increasing the power of certain ally-related moves.
Unlocks new jobs.
As with the previous Like a Dragon turn-based RPG title, increasing Bond Levels in Infinite Wealth will unlock more jobs for each character.
Aloha Links
Aloha Links is a new features that lets Kasuga increase his Personality Stats by interacting with various non-player characters (NPCs) in the game. Aloha Link characters are not limited to people as Kasuga can also befriend various animals found all around Hawaii.
Aloha Links becomes available in the game by talking to Kei at Revolve Bar. To befriend an Aloha Link (identified by a smiley above their heads), you must greet them by pressing the □ button.
The Bucket List
The Bucket List is a special section of the game that centers on Kazuma Kiryu as he revisits his past amid his final days with cancer. In The Bucket List, players are introduced to three new features which are Life Links, Memoirs of a Dragon, and Unfinished Business.
Soul, Tech, and Body parameters exclusive to Kiryu under the Awakening screen will increase by making progress in these features, enhancing the legendary Yakuza’s performance in battle.
Life Links
Like Links are a series of special story episodes that center on the legendary Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu. As the iconic series’ protagonist comes to terms with his impending death due from cancer, he reunites with old friends a means to reflect on his past.
To unlock new Life Link episodes, you must level up Kiryu’s Awakening rank by progressing through the Memoirs of a Dragon and Unfinished Business objectives.
Revisiting locations significant to Kiryu (Memoirs of a Dragon) or meeting certain conditions during The Bucket List story (Unfinished Business) will reward you with Awakening points to rank up Kiryu’s Awakening level.
Memoirs of a Dragon
Memoirs of a Dragon are a collection of locations that Kazuma Kiryu can visit during The Bucket List story section of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Most of these accessible areas hold important memories for Kiryu from events that have occurred in past Yakuza games.
Visiting a Memoirs of a Dragon location will reward you with Soul, Tech, and Body points for Kiryu which increase the Dragon of Dojima’s performance in battle. This also contributes to raising Kiryu’s Awakening level which will unlock new Life Link episodes for the legendary Yakuza.
Unfinished Business
Unfinished Business are a series of special objectives that Kazuma Kiryu can complete during The Bucket List story section of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The conditions to clear each objective greatly vary, ranging from requiring Kiryu to defeat a specific number of enemies using one of his many Battle Styles to eating at different restaurants.
Clearing Unfinished Business objectives will also reward you with Soul, Tech, and Body points for Kiryu for improving his combat effectiveness as well as making new Life Link episodes accessible during The Bucket List story section.
New Mini Games
A selection of new mini games also make their debut in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, giving players some fun activities to spend time on apart from the game’s main story and side quests.
Crazy Delivery
Crazy Delivery is a new mini game in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth where you ride a road bike around town and deliver food to earn money. During the mini game, you can increase the tips you receive from customers by performing flashy tricks and maneuvers.
Delivery Points you earn in the mini game can be exchanged for money or valuable equipment and items which can be useful during the main story.
Dondoko Island
Dondoko Island is a new miniature garden simulation mini game that lets you develop you very own resort island by erecting buildings and installing facilities for you and guests that choose to spend time there.
You can earn resources to develop the island by collecting or disposing trash in your surroundings. You can also catch insects and fish.
When you have the necessary funds, you can start developing the island by purchasing and installing buildings, stores, vehicles, and other useful amenities.
Collected materials and trash can also be used for DIY furniture which can then be installed at your home on the island.
Respond to guest requests.
Guests who choose to spend time on your island will often have personal requests. Satisfying their needs will make them spend more money during their stay so be sure to attend to their requests as much as possible.
Random events occur on the island.
Different events can occur on Dondoko Island which include the arrival of pirates or wild boar attacks.
You can visit other players’ islands online.
If you are playing online, it is possible to visit the Dondoko Island of other players by talking to the online person on the island.
Miss Match
Miss Match is a new dating mini game that allows you to increase Kasuga’s various Personality Stats by meeting and going out with different women.
Using the Miss Match app on Kasuga’s smartphone, you can look for potential dates by making the appropriate responses when chatting on the phone, sending your potential date stamps, and finally meeting them face-to-face.
Sicko Snap
The Sicko Snap courses are a series of new mini games that require you to photograph Sickos while riding the special trolleys around Hawaii. You are given a time limit to shoot Sickos you find while cruising as well as a fixed amount of film.
You earn a score for each Sicko you shoot while going through the course. At the end of the mini game, you will be evaluated based on the number of Sickos you photographed and the quality of each shot.
m Hold ‘Em Poker
m Hold ‘Em poker is a new card mini game in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth which can be played at the m Hold ‘Em amusement center. There are a total of 10 locations to play it in Meguro, with one of them found at Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama.
The interior of the amusement facility is faithfully reproduced in the game, and you can not only play poker but also eat and drink there.
Gambling Hall
The Gambling Hall is another new gambling location in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth which is found in Waikiki Street (Honolulu City). Going to the Gambling Hall lets you play the Koi Koi and Oichobaku card games with money on the line.
New Arcade Games
You can visit various SEGA game centers found all throughout the game world to play different SEGA classic arcade games not featured in previous Yakuza titles.
Spike Out
Spike Out is a 3D action game developed in 1998 that enabled co-op multiplayer.
SEGA Bass Fishing
A realistic bass fishing game developed in 1997 that featured advanced graphics for its time.
Virtua Fighter 3tb
Virtua Fighter 3tb is a 3-on-3 team battle game developed in 1997.
Brand New Explorable Setting Overseas (Hawaii)
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes primarily take place in Hawaii, though a portion of the main story also has features familiar locations in Yokohama, Japan. From the sands of Aloha Beach to the bustling island shopping areas like Anaconda, Waikiki and Chinatown, players can spend endless hours on things to do and sights to see.
Despite Hawaii’s alluring scenery, thugs and criminals will be roaming the streets. Players can expect to do battle with the island’s not-so-friendly elements so being adequately prepared is a given while exploring the open world.
Exploration
Street Surfer (Segway Scooter)
The Street Surfer segway scooter is a new feature introduced in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth that lets Kasuga move around the various maps of Hawaii faster.
To ride the Street Surfer segway scooter, press down (↓) on the directional pad while outside of battle. To get off, press down on the d-pad again, enter a battle, or approach a charging station found all throughout the city.
Auto-Run
By choosing your destination on the map and pressing R2, you can enable the Street Surfer to go into auto-run mode. This lets you travel without having to control the segway scooter manually to reach your desired location.
Note that entering battle or colliding with vehicles will instantly disable auto-run. Because of this, try to keep an eye on the road even if you are cruising automatically in the game.
Charging the Street Surfer
The Street Surfer runs on batteries that must be recharged when it is depleted. You can find charging stations to restore your segway to running condition which require money to use.
Customization
You can customize the Street Surfer to suit your taste by changing out its body or tires in the game. These modifications are likely to not affect the segway scooter’s performance and are only a means to personalize your vehicle to your liking.
You cannot talk to people while on the Street Surfer.
Note that you cannot interact with people when you are riding the Street Surfer. If you want to talk to someone, get off the Street Surfer by pressing down on the d-pad.
You cannot enter buildings while on the Street Surfer.
It is also not possible to enter buildings (including restaurants, shops, and other enclosed areas) when you are aboard the Street Surfer. You must get off if you want to enter any areas with a door to go through.
