Like a Dragon 8: Infinite Wealth Story Overview
The story features Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as the two protagonists.
Having left his criminal background in the past, Icihiban Kasuga is now a regular salaryman in Tokyo. Nevertheless, he eventually loses his job after rumors about his criminal history spread on a famous VTuber stream. Because of this, Kasuga almost went back to his old ways, but before this happened, his former Yakuza associates told him that his biological mother, Akane, had shown up in Hawaii.
Kasuga immediately boarded a plane to Honolulu to reunite with his mother. However, shortly after touching down in Honolulu, someone robbed him of all his belongings before he could even find his mother.
In his relentless pursuit of Akane, Kasuga must once again start from the bottom. This time, he doesn’t have any money or friends to aid him. He must find a way to reach his mother before any criminal syndicates reach her first.
Kazuma Kiryu, on the other hand, is in Hawaii, carrying out missions for the Daidoji clan. While on a mission, Kazuma Kiryu encounters Ichiban Kasuga and eventually agrees to aid him in his endeavors.

| Joon-gi Han |
Joongi Han is the second-in-command of the Geomijul, and he works with Seonhee. |
| Tianyou Zhao |
He is the former Leader of Yokohama Liumang and is now the chef of You Tian, he is showing off his cooking skills in the city. |
| Jo Sawashiro |
A former member of Omi Alliance, and the founder and first chairman of the Tokyo Omi Alliance. He is now currently a member of the Seiryu Clan. |
The characters listed above are returning characters from the previous Like a Dragon titles. These characters will play an active role in this title and will eventually cross paths with the protagonists of the story.
Bucket List Side Story Overview
A side story involving Kazuma Kiryu.
The main character featured in the Bucket List side story is Kazuma Kiryu, who in this story is currently battling cancer. During this time, he has the opportunity to fulfill the things he wants to do before he succumbs to cancer.

In Hawaii, you can go to Honlulu City and Aloha Beach, which are surrounded by a variety of buildings and stores. Other than that, there are also appealing locations, such as Waikiki Town and Little Japan, where you can go shopping and play mini games.
In Yokohama, you can find yakuza hideouts, participate in arcade games, or simply take in the beautiful view of the city.
