Substory 12: Saved by Kindness Walkthrough Summary
| 1 | Approach and speak to Sawai, who is currently down on his knees. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Meet up with Sawai on Makani Ave. and watch the cutscene. |
| 3 | Follow the quest markers and watch the cutscenes wherein Sawai keeps getting mistreated. |
| 4 | After having a meal at Oahu Burger, you will be asked to respond in a conversation (Personality Chance). |
| 5 | Select the dialogue “The lei girl?” to increase your Kindness stat. |
| 6 | Follow Sawai and watch over him. |
| 7 | You will then have the chance to tell Sawai the truth or keep quiet about his situation. |
| 8 | You can select any of the choices, as this does not affect the conclusion of the substory. |
| 9 | Head to Mama Masala’s to check on Sawai and Kiana. |
| 10 | Follow Sawai and Kiana to the parking lot. |
| 11 | Defeat the Thugs and watch the cutscene to clear the substory. |
Substory 12: Saved by Kindness Strategy Guide
Go to other areas if the substory events do not occur.
There may be times when the substory does not progress or occur. If this happens, leave the area and head somewhere else, then go back to the substory event location. You can either leave by foot or take a taxi, and once you go back to the substory location, you should be able to trigger the next substory event.
Personality Chance
During the conversation at the Oahu Burger, a Personality Chance will be presented to you. Choose the dialogue “The lei girl?” to get an increase on your Kindness Personality Stat.
Afterwards, you will be asked to make a decision about whether to tell Kawai the truth about his situation or keep it to yourself. You can answer anything in this conversation, as it won’t affect the conclusion of the substory.
