How to Restore HP

Fill up the Focus Bar.

Before you can use Heal, you must first fill up the Focus Bar by executing combinations of attacks while engaged in combat. The Focus Bar can be seen at the upper left of your screen, just below the HP bar. In addition, the longer your combo attacks are, the more Focus you gain. Though this is not yet confirmed, there is a possibility that there are skill upgrades in the game that can boost the amount of Focus you can get, allowing the bar to fill up more quickly.

Aside from that, Focus can also be used to perform a Finisher. This gives players the option of using their accumulated Focus for either an offensive strike or to restore their lost HP.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 How to Gain Focus Fast

Press the ↓ button to Heal.

After accumulating enough Focus, you will be able to use Heal by pressing the ↓ button on the D-Pad on the controller. The amount of health that can be restored is directly proportional to the amount of Focus that you currently have.
