How to Use Mega Venom Blast in Marvel’s Spider Man 2

Press L3 + R3  while playing as Miles Morales.

While playing as Miles in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, press L3 + R3 to perform Mega Venom Blast. This causes Miles to release a powerful burst of electricity around him in a wide area, dealing massive damage and knocking away all enemies caught in the massive radius.

Using Mega Venom Blast spends the focus gauge accumulated meter. You will need to refill the gauge again to perform the attack after using it in battle (to be confirmed).

How to Unlock Mega Venom Blast

Becomes available during the main story (to be confirmed).

Mega Venom Blast is one of the abilities that Miles unlocks during the main story. There is no way to miss out on acquiring the ability as you will have access to it via story progression (to be confirmed).

How to Refill Focus Gauge

Fills up when landing multiple hits on enemies (comboing).

You can charge Miles’ Focus gauge by chaining multiple hits against enemies. Try to land as many attacks by knocking your foes into the air to make the Focus gauge charge faster.

Dodge or parry incoming attacks.

You also gain some Focus after you successfully dodge or parry attacks coming your way. In relation to the tip above, try to get used to switching from offense to defense (and via versa) so you can accumulate Focus easily in battle.

Tips for Using Mega Venom Blast

Can be done to ambush groups of unsuspecting enemies.

You can activate Mega Venom Blast to surprise enemies gathered in an area by approaching them while undetected. Doing so allows you to thin the initial number of targets in an area so you can clear it out faster.

Useful when surrounded by multiple enemies or during critical situations.

Mega Venom Blast, like Peter Parker’s Symbiote Surge, works well as a trump card for when you want to quickly turn the tide of battle in your favor. This is especially useful for when you are surrounded by groups of strong enemies that constantly come at you from all directions.

Effective against bosses.

Mega Venom Blast is also useful for dealing massive damage on bosses you encounter throughout the game. You can try saving Mega Venom Blast as a last gamble when you and the boss are both at very low health.
