It is the same as the Spider-Sense ability when dodge appears, but the Parry alert will turn red which means you need to counterattack or move to a different position from the enemy.

The red halo on Peter or Miles’ head is the indicator that you will be attacked by the enemy and you need to press L1 button to perform a parry against an enemy attack.

Parry requires timing

Players can only parry an incoming attack when the red halo appears and when they press L1 button at the right moment. As mentioned, the same Spider-Sense alert will appear as white circular lines whenever an enemy will attack and indicating players to dodge. However, at some situations the white line will turn into a red halo on the head.

It may take a while before players get used to the timing and difference between dodge and parry. Pressing the L1 button to early may just result to a normal dodge or pressing the L1 button too late may cause some damages to your character.

Is Parry available at the start?

It is confirmed that Parry is available at default and has been introduced as a new mechanic while in combat. During the main mission, One Thing At A Time, this will be featured and a quick tutorial on how to parry will be introduced.
