Clear the main story for the first time.

You can unlock Ultimate difficulty (Challenge Level) in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 by clearing all main story acts for the first time on any setting.

Afterwards, you will be able to start a New Game Plus (NG+) playthrough on Ultimate with all character level, accumulated resources (Tech Parts and Tokens), unlocked suits, and suit tech and gadget upgrades carried over.

What is Ultimate Difficulty?

The game’s highest Challenge Level (“Ultra Hard” mode).

Ultimate difficulty is essentially the game’s version of “Ultra Hard” mode. Regular enemies and bosses on Ultimate have increased health, damage output, and aggressiveness that surpass even those encountered on the Spectacular setting (Hard).
