Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Equip fire and burst Pins
Before engaging the boss, make sure you have Fire and Burst Pins equipped to Wicked Twisters.
Target one arm at a time
Start the battle by weakening the arms of the boss. Focus on one arm at a time. Preferably the extending skeleton arm of the boss.
Avoid getting grab
When the boss is about to attack, his arm will glow in advance. If you see the skeleton arm glowing, let it use its Fist Punch while you dodge simultaneously. This will make your character get away from getting grabbed.
Target the arm when an ally is captured
If your character got grabbed by the boss, focus all your attack on the arm to set the other party member free.
Attack the body
When both arms are dealt with, focus your attacks on the body. Keep in mind that, both arms will recover their lost HP over time so don’t set your team up close to the boss.
Use fire and burst affinity attacks
The boss is weak against Fire and Burst affinity attacks. Complement this with your other pins the boss does not have resistance against.
Avoid the ground slam attack
The boss will go climb a building and jump down to slam the ground. To avoid receiving damage, get to the far back of the battlefield. Once it hits the ground, it will recover back to its neutral position in a few seconds. Take advantage and deal pin attacks again.
