What are Dandori Challenges?

Special Challenges Unlocked Throughout the Game

Dandori Challenges are special challenges in Pikmin 4 that are found all throughout the game world in the form of unique caves. In a Dandori Challenge, you must collect Treasures scattered around a special zone to earn as much points as you can within the time limit.

The points you get for each Treasure you collect in a Dandori Challenge is based on the item’s weight. You are also only able to use specific Pikmin during each trial which can be acquired throughout the challenge zone.

Dandori Challenge zones are often filled with enemies and obstacles. Careful planning and creativity is encouraged as shortcuts can be obtained in certain areas to speed up your pace in gathering the Treasures during the mini game.

Dandori Challenge Rewards

In addition to being able to rescue a Leafling Castaway, clearing Dandori Challenges rewards you with Pup Drive points which can be used to learn and upgrade Oatchi’s skills via Captain Shepherd’s Rescue Pup Training at the Rescue Command Post. It is recommended to unlock and enhance as many of Oatchi’s abilities to help you progress more smoothly in each of the main missions so try to spend time clearing Dandori Challenges when you can.
