About Two-Player Mode
Support Fire (2P)
2P should support 1P by throwing pebbles at various targets with the A button and defeating enemies.
If you hit something that is being transported, it will be carried out faster than normal.
Co-op Points
You can earn co-op points by defeating enemies, breaking walls, and carrying things while working together in two-player mode.
Items can be obtained when the co-op gauge above the 2P pointer is full.
How to Disable Two-Player Mode
All items obtained from accumulating co-op points will disappear when you end the two-player session.
Please note that items will not be carried over the next time you start two-player mode again.
Can you play Pikmin 4 co-op in split-screen mode?
Split-screen co-op not supported.
Pikmin 4 does not support two-player split-screen co-op since only character can be controlled.
It is, however, possible for two people to play the game as described in this guide by having 1P operate the character and 2P providing support.
The features of two-player mode are explained above so please refer to them.
