Unlock Oatchi’s Buff Lv. 3 skill

In order to have Oatchi carry the Blue Onion, he needs to learn the Buff Lv.3 skill.

Unlock Oatchi’s Super Buff Lv. 1 skill

After learning the Buff Lv. 3 skill, you are now capable of learning the Super Buff Lv. 1 skill.

For now, the only way to get Ice Pikmin is from the underground caverns.

Freeze the pond using 30 Ice Pikmin

Use 30 Ice Pikmin to freeze the pond.

If you have a Charging Horn, press X while the Ice Pikmin are selected to make them charge toward the pond.

Build a climbing wall using 15 Raw Materials

Use your remaining Pikmin to build a climbing wall.

Since 30 Ice Pikmin are used to freeze the pond, use 10 Red Pikmin instead to climb the wall and carry the Blue Onion.

Red Pikmin will also allow you to defeat the enemy in the next area.

In this current stage of the game, the maximum number of Pikmin you can take is 20, but you can increase that number up to 40 by picking up Flarlics in the Last-Frost Cavern.
