How to Save Guide for Pikmin 4
Only auto-save is enabled.
Pikmin 4 only has an auto-save feature.
Auto-saving is underway when the [P] icon is displayed on the upper left corner of the game screen.
Below are points in the game when auto-save occurs.
Auto-Save Timing
- Start of the day.
- End of the day.
- Before entering a cave.
- After exiting a cave.
- After crafting at the lab.
- After rescue training (Oatchi).
- When going on an exploration.
Saving at Any Time (“Save and Return to Title”)
You can also save at any time by selecting “Save and Return to Title” in the pause menu (➖ button).
It is, however, not a very useful function during gameplay because it returns you to the title screen.
This feature is only helpful when you want to finish your session.
Auto-saves frequently occur during important points in the game, so accidents such as not being able to save during normal play are unlikely to happen.
