Post-Game Unlockables Guide for Pikmin 4
New fifth explorable map Giant’s Hearth is unlocked.
Clearing the main story of Pikmin 4 and accumulating 11,000 Sparklium unlocks Giant’s Hearth, the fifth “hidden” map in the game. This area was previously inaccessible prior to beating the game and viewing the ending.

Mission: Cure Oatchi is unlocked.
Mission: Cure Oatchi also becomes available once you complete the main story missions.
Olimar’s Shipwreck Tale side story is unlocked.
After beating the game, talk to Olimar at the Rescue Command to unlock the post-game mode Olimar’s Shipwreck Tale. This side story lets you play as protagonist of the first and second Pikmin games as he tries to scavenge for parts to repair the SS Dolphin and return home.

Total Castaways rescued can be viewed.
The total number of Castaways you have rescued will be displayed when viewing information on the main mission Rescue All Castaways as a prerequisite for completion.

Since the main story continues as it is after the ending, there is no New Game Plus (NG+) or any feature to carry-over your progress into a new playthrough.
Things to Do After Clearing the Main Story
Clear all new post-game content.
To achieve 100% completion in Pikmin 4, you must clear all content that become accessible after the game’s ending. This includes doing side missions and finding Castaways in the game’s fifth map, and clearing the Cure Oatchi mission and the Olimar’s Distress game mode.
Rescue all Castaways.
New Castaways needing rescue are added to the game after you have beaten the main story which are also required for 100% completion.
Achieve 100% survey rating in all maps.

Get all Platinum medals (ranks) for all Dandori Battles and Dandori Challenges.
You can also spend time getting all Platinum medals (ranks) for all Dandori Battles and Dandori Challenges during the post-game stages.
Complete the Piklopedia.
Try to complete all entries for Pikmin, plants, and enemies in the Piklopedia that Dalmo maintains if you are aiming to 100% the game.
