Game Overview
Star Ocean: The Divine Force is the sixth major installment in the Star Ocean series of action role-playing games. Celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary, Star Ocean: The Divine Force continues the series’ traditions of fusing Sci-Fi and fantasy, an abundance of playable characters and side stories, and a battle system that allows you to enjoy exhilarating action with easy controls.
Star Ocean: The Divine Force features a brand new adventure that follows the tale of main characters Raymond Lawrence and Laeticia Aucerius. Players can choose to play as either at the start of the game.
Throughout Raymond and Leticia’s journey across the different planets, they will come across allies and foes that drive the game’s dual narrative, allowing players to view events unique to each main character’s story route.
The game’s story begins as Raymond’s merchant vessel, the Ydas, was mysteriously attacked by the Pangalactic Federation. He crash lands on an underdeveloped planet where he meets Laeticia, a princess fighting to protect her homeland Aster IV from an invading empire. Together, they set off on an adventure that will shake the foundations of the entire universe.
