Does Star Ocean: The Divine Force Demo Progress Carry Over to the Full Game?

Game progress in the Star Ocean: The Divine Force playable demo cannot be transferred to the full game upon release. As confirmed from a post on Square Enix’s official website, the trial version simply aims to give players a taste of Divine Force’s opening section, including hands-on previews on exploration via the space vessel, combat, and introduction to a few of the game’s main characters.
Weapons, equipment, items, skills, and money obtained throughout the demo, therefore, will not be carried over when the complete version comes out. Because of this, it is not recommended to spend time grinding and just play through the demo to get the hang of the game’s various mechanics.
