DP Farming Guide for Star Ocean: The Divine Force
In Star Ocean: The Divine Force (Star Ocean 6), you can learn and upgrade DUMA’s various skills using DUMA Points (DP) which are different from Skill Points (SP). Doing so grants your party a variety of support abilities, buffs, and other beneficial effects in battle. As you go through the game’s main story, try to spend time earning DP to gain the advantage, especially during tough encounters later on.
Learning more powerful techniques and abilities expands your strategic options in battle and will help you against tougher enemies in later chapters. Because of this, it is important to take the time earning DP before proceeding further into the main story.
Collect DP Gems to Earn DP
You earn DP by collecting DP gems found throughout the various locations of the game. Try to explore open areas and dungeons as much as you can since some of these collectibles are positioned in hard-to-reach areas or are cleverly hidden from main passageways.
Types of DP Gems
There is currently one type of DP gem confirmed in various official trailers and gameplay footage which grants 10 DP for each piece collected. Information on other types of DP gems will be added when it is confirmed in the game.
