Main Mission 2: Scavenger Adam Walkthrough Summary

Get the passcode.

Get the passcode on the corpse in the building on the left.

Enter the passcode to open the door.

Once you have the password, input it at the door. You do not need to remember the passcode since you can just press the △ button to display it again.

Take down the machine on the other side of the wall.

When you open the door, there will be a human corpse and a machine behind the wall on the right. Be sure to destroy the machine as it will drop a Tumbler Expansion Module  when defeated.

Go into the water to find a container.

When you open the door, there is a container in the water on the right side. Open it to get a material.

Get DIT coins nearby and set up camp.

A DIT coin can be found near the campsite. After getting it, you can set up camp.

HP and replenish recovery items are replenished by sitting on a camp chair.

You can also purchase items from the vending machine and set skills so be sure to check out these features while camping.

Hit the nearby car to get the Microdrive.

You can get a Microdrive by attacking the nearby car that is leaking light. Once you get it, open the container in the building on the left.

If you grab onto the pipe and jump across, you will find a path to your left that leads to a container with materials ahead.

Defeat the Hydra and open the container.

When you head further down the road, go to the dead end on the left and a Hydra will appear. Parry its charge attack to easily defeat it.

Once the Hydra is dealt with, get the Omnivolt from the nearby container.

DIT coin on the statue.

There is a scaffolding near the bushes that you can climb. Use it to go up to the stone statue to find DIT coins falling.

Climb the wall to find a container.

Proceed a little further down the wide road and scan it. There will be a wall on the right that you can climb, and a container ahead of it.

Get fusion cell from car.

Go straight down the road to find a car. Attack it and open the hood to get a Fusion Cell.

If you do not know which way to go, press the touchpad to scan.

Take down the Mutant Creeper and Heavy Guardian.

If you follow the path straight, a cutscene will play. Afterwards, you where you need to take down the Mutant Creepers and Heavy Guardians.

The enemies will swing their tails and attack violently, so be sure to find the right opening to attack. Note that you cannot block attacks marked with yellow or blue so just evade them instead.

Obtain a Beta Core at the dead end.

There will be a fork in the road where you can go right or go straight and turn left. First, go straight ahead and examine the corpse at the dead end to get a Beta Core.

Climb up the wall to find a container.

Go back the way you came and take the other path. There is a point on the left that you can climb up to which leads to a container with SP Limiter inside.

Get the passcode.

After opening the container, jump onto the railing and onto the platform. There is a corpse ahead that you can examine to get the Pharmacy Passcode.

Climb the wall to find materials.

Before going into the water, climb up the wall that you can see in front of you. There are human corpses and materials at the end of the path.

Go into the water to find a container.

Dive underwater to find a container past the torn wire mesh. Open it to get materials.

Push the board and use it as a foothold to go up the ladder.

Push the board floating on the water to the bottom of the ladder and use it as a foothold to climb up. There is a camp you can rest at when you go up the ladder.

Head to the container inside the pharmacy.

Go straight to the pharmacy at the dead end. There is a locked container with materials and money inside so use the passcode you obtained earlier to open it.

Use Fusion Cells.

Go back the way you came and use the Fusion Cell to open the door. Enter the library and examine the shelves and map on the left. There is also a material you can grab after entering and climbing the scaffolding in front of you.

Get the Body Core.

Head to the multi-storey parking lot and get the Body Core from the corpse in the back before going up the stairs. Your maximum HP increases when you collect 3 Body Cores. Afterwards, go up the stairs and access the camp.

Learn Blink at the Supply Camp.

Supply camps are different from regular camps in that you can also upgrade weapons, tumblers, and gear sockets in the former. You will also learn the skill “Blink” in the tutorial.

Battle with Abaddon (demo boss) on the rooftop.

Go up to the roof and fight the demo boss Abaddon. Doing so clear the demo.

Abaddon Boss Strategy Guide

Aim to perfect parry the boss’ consecutive attacks.

Abaddon attacks rapidly with both swords. Aim for perfect parries and attack when the boss flinches.

Use Blink when EVE’s swords and the boss glow blue.

When Eve’s sword and the boss himself glow blue, activate Blink by tilting the left analog stick forward + 〇 button. If done correctly, you can quickly get behind Abaddon.

Be careful when the boss powers up at half HP.

When Abaddon’s HP falls below half, he will an empowered state and will be wrapped in lightning. The boss will then gain new lightning-based attacks onward.

Avoid the lightning by running.

Immediately after Abaddon is buffed with lightning, he will start calling lightning from the sky before finally throwing out an unblockable attack. Avoid the lightning by running left and right, and perfect dodge the unblockable attacks or run away from it.

Note that you can recover HP while running so heal up while running away from the lightning.

Press the △ button when Abaddon loses balance.

As you succeed in perfect parrying, Abaddon’s balance will gradually decrease, and when it reaches 0, the boss will lose its balance. When this happens, perform Retribution pressing △ to deal massive damage to Abaddon. Afterwards, you will have a chance to hit L1 + △ (hold) to do Slash that stacks even more damage.

Clear the QTE when the boss’ HP reaches 0.

When Abaddon’s HP is depleted, a QTE will occur. Press L1 within the time limit to finish off the boss. If you fail the QTE, Abaddon’s HP will slightly recover.
