Blink Tips and Guide for Stellar Blade (Project EVE)
How to Blink
Tilt the Left Analog Stick upwards and press the Circle button when a blue light flashes.
To perform a Blink, tilt the Left Analog Stick upwards and press the Circle button when your weapon flashes a blue light. If successful, you will be teleported behind the attacking enemy, allowing you to unleash an attack with stunning effect and gain Burst Energy at the same time.
Use Repulse on purple enemy attacks.
Enemy attacks that flash purple light cannot be avoided using Blink. Use Repulse instead to defend against these attacks.
Tips for Blink
Keep an eye on your weapon.
Pay attention to your weapon and do the command control for Blink (Left Analog Stick ↑ + Circle) when your weapon flashes a blue light. This is more effective compared to looking out for the blue light from the enemy because if you input the command control right after the enemy emits a blue light, it will fail. When a blue light comes out of the enemy, stop attacking and wait for your weapon to flash a blue light.
You can change the game difficulty to activate the Action Assist setting.
If you are having trouble with Blinking, you can change the game difficulty to “Story” and turn on “Action Assist” in settings. Doing so will activate an assistance system, in which a button will appear at the exact moment to use Blink.
Unlock Support Skills.
In the Skill Kiosk, you can unlock skills that can boost or enhance your Blink. Threat Detection increases the chance of Blink occurring, which will extend the window to Blink before an enemy attack hits.
How to Unlock Blink
Automatically unlocked at the first Supply Camp.
Blink will become available as soon as you arrive on the second floor of the first Supply Camp. A tutorial will ask you to pick both Blink and Repulse.
