How to Lock-On Guide for Stellar Blade (Project EVE)

Approach the enemy and press the right analog stick (R3).

To lock onto an enemy in Stellar Blade (Project EVE), get close to the enemy and press the right analog stick (R3). If done correctly, a white dot should appear on the target which causes your view to focus on it at all times during battle.

Press R3 again to release lock-on.

To release lock-on, press the R3 button again. There are no other inputs required so freely operate lock-on based on the situation in battle.

Tilt the right analog stick while locked-on to change targets.

You can change the locked-on target when fighting multiple enemies by tilting the right analog stick in the direction of your preferred target. You do not need to press down on the analog stick (R3) to do this.

How to Set-Up Automatic Lock-On

Can be done in Settings > Controls < Auto Lock-On.

You can toggle automatic lock-on under Settings > Controls. Then, enable or disable “Automatic lock-on when attacking”. If you turn the setting on, you will be automatically locked on to an enemy upon landing an attack on them.
