Twilight of the Great Wolf (Normal Ending)
The Twilight of the Great Wolf is the game’s normal ending and requires you to simply defeat Fenrir at the end of Chapter 9: The Fate of the World. Do not go to the designated spot to meet Armand and just proceed to the final boss to unlock this ending.
Twilight of the All-Father (“Good” Ending)
The Twilight of the All-Father is essentially the game’s “good” ending where Maria chooses to rebel against Odin at the end of Chapter 9: The Fate of the World. You must meet with Armand but refuse to run away with him. This will trigger boss battles against Hilde and Fenrir which may prove challenging. Afterwards, you must take down Odin himself who is the final boss in this ending route.
A Momentary Escape (“Bad” Ending)
A Momentary Escape is the “bad” ending story-wise as Maria chooses to abandon her duty and run away with Armand instead. Upon agreeing to Armand’s offer at the meeting spot in Chapter 9: The Fate of the World, you will immediately view this ending without having to face any final boss.
True Ending (Best Ending)
The True Ending is the hardest to unlock as it requires you to obtain all collectible Verdant Blossoms prior to starting Chapter 9: The Fate of the World. Doing so causes the last Verdant Blossom in Chapter 9 to spawn at the center of Serpent’s Lair for you to pick up.
Afterward getting the last Verdant Blossom, meet with Armand at the designated spot and refuse his offer. This will trigger a series of events similar to the Twilight of the All-Father ending with one main difference: Hilde will fight alongside you in the final battles against Fenrir and Odin. An empowered version of Odin called Ragnarok Odin serves as the final boss of this ending route.
There is no specific trophy or achievement obtained for unlocking the True Ending. It will, however, let you automatically obtain The Twilight of the Great Wolf (for defeating Fenrir), The Twilight of the All-Father (for defeating Odin), and the Truth of the Gods (for finding all Verdant Blossoms) achievements in a single playthrough.
true ending is best. That’s is the one I’ll go for on first playthrough.
Lol spoiled myself even tho I don’t have the game yet nice
Is it possible to get all ending in a single playthrough? Or manual save at particular point so that you can just repeat from that particular section towards every ending?
Yes.
After you complete the game, you will have the save slot with *. You can load this Cleared Game save slot to do another ending. But beware, the Verdant Blossom collection will be saved if you collect the 9th one in chapter 9.
So, this is the route that you can do in order to view all ending in “single play-through” / “manual save at particular point”:
1. Collect all 8 Verdant Blossoms.
2. Do not collect the 9th Verdant Blossom, save at the 2nd save crystal in chapter 9 (let’s say the 19th slot).
3. From this 19th save slot, you can do the Bad, Normal & Good ending. You can use the Cleared Game save slot to do these.
4. Collect the 9th Verdant Blossom, then save in another slot (let’s say the 20th slot). This time, you can do the True ending.
You need to collect all 8 Verdant Blossoms first.
Then make the save slot at the 2nd save point in chapter 9 without collect the last Verdant Blossom.
From this point, you can
